Counselling that works for you

I offer face-to-face and online counselling, giving you the flexibility to choose the setting that feels most comfortable for you.

Sessions are 60 minutes and cost £40. We can talk together about what you’re looking for, whether you’re beginning counselling for the first time or returning to it.

Face-to-face sessions offer a calm, private space for our work together. Online sessions can provide the same supportive, collaborative approach from wherever you feel most at ease.

If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we can explore that together. Get in touch to ask a question or arrange a session.

A little about how I work

I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself, without judgement or pressure to be anything other than who you are.

My approach is grounded in empathy, connection and the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Rather than telling you what to do or offering ready-made answers, I’ll walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, recognise patterns, and consider what might help you move forward.

I work as a pluralistic counsellor, with a particular preference for person-centred therapy. This means our relationship is central to the work we do, and I place great importance on understanding your experiences from your perspective. We’ll work collaboratively to understand what you need from counselling, drawing on different therapeutic ideas and approaches where they feel helpful and relevant to you. Your voice, preferences and goals remain central throughout.

There’s no expectation that you’ll have everything figured out before we begin. We’ll take things at your pace, making space for whatever you bring.

What we can explore together

People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons. You might be struggling with something specific, feeling unsettled without quite knowing why, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply.

I have experience supporting people with a range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Low mood and emotional difficulties

  • Self-esteem, confidence and self-acceptance

  • Bereavement, grief and loss

  • Addiction and patterns of behaviour that feel difficult to change

  • Life transitions, uncertainty and questions about identity

  • Relationships, boundaries and connection with others

This isn’t an exhaustive list. You don’t need to have a particular problem or a clear explanation for how you’re feeling to benefit from counselling. If something is affecting your wellbeing or you feel ready to explore things more deeply, we can start there.
